The park is peaceful and quiet making it a lovely place to retreat to for relaxation.
The small town of Cockermouth is an attraction to many local villagers and tourists, hosting several dining out facilities and food takeaways. There is also an Aldi and a Sainsbury`s supermarket in the town alongside many interesting shops. Adjacent to the A66 route running from the A1 through to Workington, the site is located giving easy access to both local and distant towns and the seaside on the west coast.Keswick, Ambleside, Whitehaven, St Bees, Workington, Allonby and Silloth are all places of interest and well worth visiting.

The caravan is sited perhaps on the best location on the site with ample room for two vehicles to park with a view over the Buttermere Fells and the surrounding open land.It has two bedrooms, both with drawers and wardrobe, one twin and one double. Each room has bed adjacent socket and light switch.

There are two external entrance doors, one into the living area and the other into the kitchen hallway. They are double glazed as are all the windows throughout. The living room contains U shaped seating, a Gas fire, Corner unit for television. External Aerial for television.Windows are fitted with cream blinds and curtained. Both external doors are curtained for evening privacy.

The Kitchen includes a Gas cooker (4 hob, oven and grill), Microwave and Fridge with built in wall units and base units. Shower room with Shower cubicle, Toilet, Wash hand basin, Mirror, Wall mounted towel baskets and dress hangers. A concealed Gas Boiler provides hot water. Heating is by the Gas fire and electric thermostatically controlled blowers.

Two large full Gas Bottles, site fees paid up to April 2020. Rattan table and 4 chairs with seat cushions also included plus more. A ramp permits access onto the decking which is ideal for disabled people.

The holiday campsite is only a short drive from the market town of Keswick with the Derwentwater Lake near to the town centre.

The private holiday makers bar on site is rented out each summer season and opening hours depend on the tenant.

Cockermouth has many shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, takeaways, chip shops, a library, garage, petrol station, and it has Wordsworth House, the birthplace of William Wordsworth. There is a Leisure Centre a short walk away with a swimming pool, gymnasium, and many childrens activities such as Children’s Dance, Aqua Fit, Boxercise, Badminton, Climbing and Gymnastics.
